- 1
Create your account
Sign up with your email at the login page, then head to /sell to apply as a seller. Add your business name, contact and a short bio.
- 2
Connect your bank via Stripe
From your seller dashboard, click Connect Stripe. Stripe will ask for business details and a bank account. This is how you receive payouts — The Mum Hub never holds your money.
- 3
List your products
Use Add product or bulk-import via the Feeds tab (CSV / Shopify / WooCommerce). Include clear photos, size category, condition and a parcel size — this drives the shipping price shown to buyers.
- 4
Use great photos
Natural light, plain background, multiple angles. Our AI photo assistant suggests improvements as you upload.
- 5
Price it right
Buyers see your price + delivery + a small buyer-protection fee. We deduct 8% commission on the item subtotal only. Example: list at £25 → buyer pays £25 + postage + £1.95 protection → you receive £23.
- 6
Dispatch within 5 days
When an order comes in you'll get an email + in-app notification. Print a label (we offer discounted rates) or use your own carrier, then mark dispatched and add a tracking number.
- 7
Get paid automatically
Stripe pays your share straight to your bank on each sale — typically next business day after first payout, then daily. No invoicing, no waiting.
- 8
Reply to buyers
Use the in-app messages tab. Quick replies = higher conversion and better reviews.
Fees at a glance
- Commission: 8% of the item price (taken at checkout, before payout).
- Buyer Protection: 5% + 70p — paid by the buyer, not you. Covers refunds for non-arrival, not-as-described or damaged items.
- Stripe fees: standard Stripe processing fees apply to your payout.
- Listing: free. No monthly fee.
Returns & disputes
Buyers can open a dispute from their order page. You'll be notified and have 48 hours to respond. Most cases resolve directly with the buyer; The Mum Hub steps in if needed.
